Day 4 - Kayak to Muri Lagoon
06 July 2021In the morning I read my book, and then popped out on the scooter for a coffee and a brownie, and had a walk on Muri Beach. It wasn't raining. In the afternoon, I paddled the kayak around to Muri Lagoon, hoping but failing to see some big fish.
In the evening, I returned to the Muri Night Market for a delicious fried chicken noodle tea, meeting Anthony, Mary and Suzie, an anaesthetist, nurse and a GP from Christchurch. Had a really lovely evening with them.
