Day 3 - Rain

It rained a lot. I read quite a bit of my book. When the rain eased up a little I nipped out on the scooter to buy an umbrella. Curiously there was only one shop on the island able to sell me one, in Avarua right round the other side. There's an obvious lost business opportunity here.

Heavy Cloud and Much Rain

Later I went for a run in the rain, to avoid early-onset cabin fever. It seemed to work. Followed by more reading, and a brief outing for a fish and chip tea. The rain finally stopped.
