South Sea Adventure

Mostly spent the day getting my bearings, and starting to explore the lagoon.

First visit to the turtles in Avaavaroa Passage, this time by kayak. Which turned out to be more exciting than planned for.

It rains a lot in the Cook Islands. Even in the winter, which is the dry season.

A quiet morning followed by an afternoon kayak over to and around Muri Lagoon. Safe as houses today.

A much calmer sea state to go and visit the turtles and rays again!
